I stumbled upon an organization called Charity: Water some years ago, and it immediately inspired me to want to join the cause and help out – so I did. I donated funds, bought some stuff from their gift shop, and spread the word amongst family and friends. What struck me most about this organization was their level of transparency and knowing 100% of donations went into the field, since all operational costs were covered by private donors. By definition, charities are meant to help those in need. But let’s face it, many are more concerned about enriching themselves than actually serving the cause they represent. That’s why when Charity: Water came about, their model was so refreshing. It left no room for crookedness, giving people complete confidence that whatever support they gave would be used to truly help those who need it most.
1 in 10 people lack access to clean water. We’re proud to announce our first donation went to Charity: Water to help change that.
