The Human Touch
Our modern world is seemingly taking us further out of our bodies. The mind drugged up on caffeine and sugar becomes beholden to the dopamine fix of these pesky devices.
And boy how those devices are waiting cunningly to condition us.
We are being desensitised to violence, being saturated by sensationalism, being able to access and view the ugliest, most appalling parts of our world in the palm of our hands.
All by design.
Our energy sucked out of our beautiful body of awareness into the black mirror of distraction. Bombarded with stories of threat, narratives of conspiracy and more rabbit holes than even Lewis Carroll can imagine. Leaving us feeling hopeless, in despair, or confused and very likely lonely.
And with that feeling of loneliness, which is a strong theme of commentary from those who have stepped out of the illusion, we find solace in online groups and relationships. Now of course these can be very positive and effective use of technology, but there is nothing quite like looking one another in the eyes, feeling the power in a firm handshake or the hearty embrace from one of our kin.
Recently in the UK, we found the time to put on three live events in London, Cambridge and Brighton and I have to say they were fucking electric. Magnetic in fact. The galvanisation of our collective vibration of the fires of freedom will burn in people’s hearts for a long time. For nothing replaces the human touch.
Where we can, we must strive to meet and ignite the dormant fires in one another.
With that in mind, and even more in heart, we are inviting people to join us on 22nd November for a live talk, where I’ll do what I do best and stoke the fires of sovereignty that reside in all of our hearts.
If you’re able to – come along and feel the human touch!
