Religious Rupture
As our beautiful Earth is undergoing a colossal transmutation process, many of us are feeling the effects of the much needed change.
We are being stripped of the superficiality and the shallow materialism we were hypnotised to accept as life.
The cheap fix and distractive dopamine hit, no longer cuts the mustard – mankind is crying out for more meaning, more connection. But in the fog of revolution, people are bewildered.
Haggling at the doorsteps of the lost and confused are the peddlers of religion – ready n waiting to recruit as many as possible into the dogma they themselves have fallen victim to.
“Follow me if you wish to be saved”
You may be reading this on a Sunday mawnin’, cuppa tea in hand and face still creased from dreamland, thinking “well that’s a bit strong Danny-Boy”.
Hear me out.
Once upon a time, our connection to source was so blisteringly fucking tangible, there was no gaps, no opening for interpretation – no stories.
Simply a raw, untainted, truthful relationship with God. Stories were unnecessary, doctrines pointless – we just knew.
Then something happened. Our cosmic, cellular current was interrupted. (by what – well that’s another newsletter entirely).
Our inherit bond between ourselves and God was cohesive, solid – it was one.
Then came the stories, the superiority – the division.
The word of God, written by men. Interpreted and edited to serve an agenda.
No longer one. Instead, factions with arrogant ascendancy promises.
The Bible: “No one comes to the Father except through me.”
The Hebrew Bible: “The Lord your God has chosen you”
The Qur’an: “Whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted from him”
Each doctrine declaring through their interpretations of God’s word - this is the way to God.
The issue is – source doesn’t divide based on loose illuminations of ancient texts, the storytelling and Chinese whispers.
God doesn’t preach division. God is unity. God is harmony.
Often we discover many of the washed up agendas of control, power and greed are hiding behind the illusive veil of religion.
The middle man dressed in his haughtily wears, reminding us - he has a stronger connection to God than us and only with his guidance, at this place of worship - can we find God.
Yet, fundamentally we are God.
The cosmic current, the living charge of divine stardust in physical form, that we are – is God.
Wherever we go n whatever we do – the presence of the loving gaze is with us all the way.
There’s nothing wrong with faith or religion if practised with love and unity in one’s heart.
However, I feel it is outdated, unnecessary and often weaponised to amplify division.
We do not need stories, books, middlemen or places of worship.
We simply need to remember.
The Sunday Sermon
In this Sunday Sermon, Danny tackles one of the topics you're not supposed to bring up at the dinner table - religion. Exploring how organised faith may have filled a gap where a more direct, personal connection to God once existed, why so many doctrines feel divisive by design, and what it might look like to find your own way back to source without the middleman.
